About Oleg Cassini
Oleg Cassini was a celebrated fashion designer whose career became closely associated with American glamour and high society. Born in Paris in 1913 to a Russian aristocratic family, he later established his career in the United States, designing for Hollywood stars and some of the most photographed women of the twentieth century.
Cassini became particularly famous as Jacqueline Kennedy’s chosen designer during her years as First Lady. His clean silhouettes and sophisticated approach helped define what became known as the “Jackie Look.” Although principally remembered for clothing, the Oleg Cassini name extended into a much broader world of fashion and lifestyle design.
